The 7th was what I called "Australia Birthday." Australia is roughly one day a head of America, so I thought it only fitting that I celebrate my birthday twice. So when it was the 8th of August in Australia, it was the 7th in the US, hence "Australia Birthday!"
We travelled from Amarillo through to Albuquerque, New Mexico!
"America Birthday" was celebrated on my actual birthday the 8th! We once again spent the day in the car and completed our route 66 experience upon arriving in Flagstaff, AZ.
That wraps up our great adventure down Route 66! Tomorrow, on to Sedona!
