Timberlake Tales: Missional Focus: {Day 6} Youth With A Mission

Youth With A Mission is an international missionary organisation that was originally started to provide young people with a way to be involved in short term overseas missions. Their purpose is simply "to know God and to make Him known."

Today YWAM operates in more than 1000 locations and has a staff of over 18,000 volunteers - yes volunteers. All of their staff are self supported, which means they have to raise their own funds through family, friends and churches. YWAM, while still focusing on youth, has expanded to include members of all ages and now also have long term serving opportunities.
